Winston Chmielinksi, known as *winst, is a self-taught imaginative painter. Describing his work as “confined abstract accidents,” he creates pieces that both startle and delight the eye. Building on the sense of spontaneity, *winst plays with the un-worked effects, drippings and range of his vibrant colors to define and obscure forms.
